Lynda Stoodley, DNP, NP-C, AGACNP-BC

Lynda Stoodley has been a registered nurse (RN) since 1989. She earned her master’s degree with a certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from California State University, Long Beach, in 2002. In 2013, she completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of Arizona and, in 2014, added a certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Over the past 23 years, she has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in cardiology and cardiac surgery, spending much of that time with COR Healthcare Medical Associates. In 2024, Lynda became one of the country’s first Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to pass the American College of Cardiology’s Certified Cardiovascular Knowledge Examination (CCKE), highlighting her clinical expertise and dedication to cardiovascular excellence.

In addition to her clinical work, Lynda has held various faculty positions in acute, primary, and doctoral Nurse Practitioner programs. She is currently teaching in an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care program. In her free time, Lynda enjoys following Trojan football, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team, and she continues to play soccer on many women’s soccer teams.
